			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stamattina mi collego a <strong>Google</strong> e cosa vedo? un nuovo doodle, un altro importante logo di <strong>Google</strong>, questa volta dedicato al celebre scrittore scozzese <strong>Robert Louis Stevenson</strong>, nato il <strong>13 novembre 1850 </strong>(Stevenson, proprio come nel logo, viene ricordato principalmente per il suo “<strong>L’isola del tesoro</strong>“, simbolo dei romanzi d’avventura)! Beh allora eccomi qui a scrivere &#8220;qualcosa&#8221; sui fantastici doodle di Google.</p>

<p>Cosa sono i doodle? sono loghi temporanei, letteralmente <em>scarabocchi</em>; sono noti come varianti decorative aggiunte al logo di Google per celebrare festività, anniversari e le vite di artisti e scienziati famosi. Come stamattina Google ama cambiare il proprio logo molto spesso per celebrare una ricorrenza, un evento particolare, una festa specifica di un Paese.</p>
<p>Divertirsi un po&#8217; con il logo aziendale ridisegnandolo di tanto in tanto sarebbe inaudito presso molte società, ma per Google fa parte del <em>brand</em>. Il doodle è principalmente un simpatico espediente adottato dall&#8217;azienda per ricordare eventi e personaggi importanti, ma esprime anche la personalità creativa e innovativa della società stessa.</p>
<p><strong>Ma dov&#8217;è nata l&#8217;idea dei doodles?</strong> Il concetto di doodle è nato il 30 agosto 1998, mentre i fondatori di Google Larry e Sergey giocherellavano con il logo aziendale per comunicare la loro partecipazione al festival <a title="The Burning Man Project" href="http://www.burningman.com/">Burning Man</a> nel deserto del Nevada. Dietro alla seconda &#8220;o&#8221; della parola &#8220;Google&#8221; venne collocata la <a title="Google" href="http://www.google.com/logos/googleburn.jpg">figura di un omino stilizzato</a>, una sorta di messaggio comico per segnalare agli utenti di Google che i fondatori non erano &#8220;al ponte di comando&#8221;. Anche se il primo doodle era relativamente semplice, l&#8217;idea di decorare il logo aziendale per celebrare eventi significativi fu accolta molto bene dagli utenti.</p>

<p>Un anno dopo, nel 2000, Larry e Sergey chiesero all&#8217;allora webmaster <strong>Dennis Hwang</strong>, che a quei tempi era solo uno stagista, di realizzare un doodle per commemorare il giorno della presa della Bastiglia, il 14 luglio.</p>

<p>All&#8217;inizio i doodle celebravano tendenzialmente festività molto diffuse; oggi i doodle rappresentano una vasta gamma di eventi e anniversari, dalle <a href="http://www.google.com/logos/olympics08_opening.gif">Olimpiadi</a> all&#8217;<a title="atterraggio del Mars Rover" href="http://www.google.com/logos/mars_rover.gif">atterraggio del Mars Rover</a>. Con il passare del tempo, la richiesta di doodle è cresciuta rapidamente. Oggi la creazione dei doodle è compito di un team di designer di talento. Per loro, la creazione dei doodle è diventata un lavoro di squadra mirato a ravvivare la home page di Google e a far sorridere una miriade di utenti di Google nel mondo.</p>

Le idee per i doodle stessi vengono raccolte da numerose fonti, compresi i Googler e il pubblico generico. Il processo di selezione dei doodle mira a commemorare eventi e anniversari interessanti che rispecchino la personalità di Google e il suo amore per l&#8217;innovazione. </span></span></span></h3>
<p>Alcuni loghi di Google sono stati disegnati per festeggiare il compleanno di molti personaggi famosi, tra cui: Andy Warhol, Albert Einstein,Leonardo da Vinci, Rabindranath Tagore, Louis Braille, Percival Lowell, Edvard Munch, Nikola Tesla, Béla Bartók, René Magritte, Michael Jackson, Akira Kurosawa, H. G. Wells, Samuel Morse, Hans Christian Ørsted, Mohandas Gandhi e Antonio Vivaldi. I Google Doodles sono anche spesso usati per ricordare gli eventi più importanti dell&#8217;azienda, come ad esempio l&#8217;anniversario di Google.</p>
<p>A conclusione del post una menzione particolare la farei a uno dei doodles più belli fatti da Google. E&#8217; il 21 maggio 2010 e <strong>Google</strong> ha festeggiato il trentesimo compleanno di <strong>Pac-Man</strong> sostituendo il tradizionale logo con uno raffigurante lo schema di gioco. Cliccando sul logo era infatti possibile giocare realmente ad una versione di Pac-Man che raffigurava la scritta <em>Google</em> ed è stato il primo logo interattivo creato da Google. A causa dell&#8217;alta richiesta da parte degli utenti per il logo giocabile, Google ha rilasciato un sito dove è possibile giocare con le stesse funzionalità della pagina originale raggiungibile attraverso <a href="http://www.google.com/pacman/" target="_blank">questo link</a>.</p>
<p>Altra menzione anche per il doodle dedicato a John Lennon. <strong>Google</strong> ha infatti pensato bene di dedicare la propria homepage alla commemorazione del settantesimo anno di <strong>John Lennon</strong>, il famoso chitarrista, compositore e cantante inglese icona dei <strong>Beatles.</strong></p>
